Ingredients

Cheeses
  • 8 oz white cheddar cheese Cube the cheese.
  • 8 oz mozzarella pearls Keep as pearls.
  • 8 oz colby jack cheese Slice and cut into star shapes.
Fruits and garnish
  • 1 cup blueberries Use for a blue section.
  • 1 cup strawberries Halve for red sections.
  • 1 cup raspberries Use for additional red sections.
  • fresh rosemary sprigs Use for garnish.
Meats
  • 6 oz salami slices Fold into ribbons.
  • 6 oz pepperoni slices Fold into ribbons.
Festive snacks
  • 1 cup yogurt-covered pretzels Scatter to fill gaps.
  • 1 cup white chocolate-covered almonds Scatter to fill remaining spaces.
  • 1 sleeve butter crackers Arrange in overlapping rows across the center.
  • 1 sleeve round crackers Arrange as part of the overlapping rows across the center.

Method

Set up the board
  1. Place small bowls of blueberries and mozzarella pearls on opposite sides of a large serving board, leaving open space in the center for crackers and cheeses.
  2. Arrange butter crackers and round crackers in overlapping rows across the center so the rows run through the board’s middle.
  3. Fold salami and pepperoni slices into ribbons and place them around the board to frame the fruit and cheeses.
Build the red and white sections
  1. Add halved strawberries and raspberries to create clear red sections across the platter.
  2. Fill remaining spaces with white cheddar cubes, yogurt-covered pretzels, and white chocolate-covered almonds so there are no large blank areas.
Make cheese stars and finish
  1. Use a small star cutter to cut colby jack cheese slices into festive star shapes.
  2. Scatter the cheese stars throughout the board, tucking some into gaps between crackers and meat ribbons.
  3. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs for a final green accent.
Chill and serve
  1. Chill the board until ready to serve so the cheeses firm up and the flavors stay fresh, about 30 minutes at refrigerator temperature.

Notes

Pro tip: slice and star-cut the colby jack right before assembling so the shapes stay crisp. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days; the board is not recommended for freezing. For a lighter option, swap one cheese portion (like white cheddar) for reduced-fat cheese while keeping the rest of the layout the same.
