Make the cranberry topping
- Combine the cranberries, sugar, water, and orange zest in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a simmer, then cook over medium-low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
- Set the cranberry topping aside to cool.
Bake the brie
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the Brie in a 6-inch oven-safe baking dish.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the center feels soft when gently pressed but the wheel still holds its shape.
- Let the Brie rest for 5 minutes.
- Spoon the cranberry topping over the Brie.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For neat portions, let the cranberry topping cool before spooning it over the Brie. Refrigerate leftovers in a covered container for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended. For a dairy-free option, use a dairy-free Brie-style cheese.
